Will took a bad fall this weekend and hit his head on a sharp rock= hole in the head, blood pumping out, mama frantically finding an EMT for help, a trip to urgent care for glue (aka stitches), all is well again.
Amazingly, this was a pretty smooth and calm situation. Jasper sat sucking his thumb through the whole ordeal, onlookers offered wipes and soothing words, Will cried for about ten seconds and then calmly sat while the EMT irrigated his wound and bandaged him up. I think that I was the most frantic one at first as it was really my very first time seeing my hurt child. Will really has graced me with very mild illnesses and injuries. We hardly have even used a bandage on him for six years! So when I saw the blood I felt a little panicked at first but we found the EMT pretty fast and then I got back into my zone again.

oh no-- I missed this one. Where did it happen? I know what you mean-- there is nothing worse than stitches and blood and yuck. Glad he is Ok!
