Well, not quite... but certainly making some progress. Tonight while I was making dinner Will spelled out "dad" on the fridge and then "jazmn" for his friend Jasmine and "zo" for zoo along with cat and dog and box. This was pretty exciting. It doesn't surprise me at all that "dad" was his first spelled word but if I remember right, usually the first word that kids learn to write and read is their own name which might be a bit tricky for him with that double L. I'm excited to see whether this interest continues or if it goes underground for awhile yet and surfaces later.
