All this weekend we are going to be enjoying the The Northwest Folklife Festival, an annual free climactic celebration of year-round ethnic, folk, and traditional arts activities. Today Will and I had a picnic lunch under the Peace Arch and then participated in several crafts for kids like a wooden boat building workshop with the Center for Wooden Boats, a puppet making workshop with Northwest Puppet Center and nature rubbings.. We saw Deano the Clown perform his tricks, watched our friends perform Morris Dancing, caught some fiddling, and looked around at some art booths.
