Kittens Adopted!

The kittens have found a new home! I posted a flyer on the school bulletin board about them and sure enough, a family expressed an interest! They came over to view them on Saturday and Paul was able to encourage them into adopting both of the cats.

Once they are neutered, spayed and microchipped we can send them to their new family! I'm so relieved to know that they won't ever live in a cage. These two kittens are so adorable and sweet. We've already grown attached to them but I know that it is lucky to have a home for these guys and then next summer I can foster another litter. This seems to be a great experience for Will to care for and love these animals. Perhaps in the next litter, he'll be old enough to help bottle feed and we'll be ready to have him choose one of the kittens for himself when it is time for adoption.

He is incredibly attached to Marmalade though and I'm sure that this is going to be a hard break. Marmalade does have a very unique personality and truly loves to play with kids.
