Planting Trees for Salmon

Will and I were part of a volunteer effort to help reforest Carkeek Park today. Together, we planted numerous trees and shrubs relatively close to our favorite salmon spotting creek. Some of the trees were part of a program where people could buy a live Christmas tree and then donate it back to the nursery for replanting at the park. Paul is hoping to hike out there with us to get GPS coordinates of the area so we can revisit our trees and see how they have grown.

Burley

Paul and Will bought a used Burley Bike Trailer this weekend to accomodate their winter biking. Will has been a little cold on his trailer bike lately so the Burley should be a nice relaxing way for Will to do winter riding. Will says that his Dad is much slower now without his help!
